Introducing my Wee Man

057
Well my little bundle of joy finally arrived being 9 days overdue, coming in just under 10 pounds (4.5 kgs) and 58 cm long. We had a water birth with no complications and with no pain relief ladies! But I must say, even considering his size he was my easiest and quickest birth. Let me tell you it was a relief to get him out, he was so heavy to carry and I am not the biggest of people.
He is the best baby in the world and is the most placid and contented baby ever!! It is so special to have a little son, more than I could ever imagine!

Congratulations! He looks beautiful!! I did a water birth for my third baby three months ago. She was 9 1/2 lbs. (my biggest baby by a pound and a half). She wasn't my easiest labor but definitely my best recovery. I had my other two natural, but in the hospital. Ironically, my "easiest" labor is the one that I have the most negative memories of.

Gosh, that just seemed like the longest pregnancy ever! And I wasn't even the one carrying him around all that time!

So, so glad he has safely arrived! He is just gorgeous - none of that tiny, petite, fragile baby look - he looks chubby and sturdy and delicious.

Congratulations!

Congratulations Mary-Jane! That did seem like a long pregnancy! Oscar is soooo cute and so is his name!
Fantastic!!!! It is wonderful to hear that your little Oscar (still little even tho he was big!) was born so well.
And like Sheridan said, it does seem like the longest pregnancy. So it must be a joy to have him out safe & sound in the world.
Love to you,
Belinda
